The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
