Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts

Arsenal's 10-game victorious run came to an end by the Black Cats before the global hiatus, however can the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?

"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated football expert Chris Sutton.

"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."

The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, readers and a variety of special visitors.

In the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.

Murs' new album, the new release, is out on Friday.

Football and Family Experiences

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid matches down the years - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a player.

"{I actually played in a benefit game the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!

"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.

"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

Murs and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.

"I won't force football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend soccer side," he said.

"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.

"My dad did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Forecasts

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

The Blues might have to be patient for their star's return from fitness issues but their attack is already more potent with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

I still think this fixture will be fairly close, however. Burnley are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.

It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.

Sutton's forecast: 1-2

The singer's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two matches - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.

In contrast, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear strong again.

The Hammers' only away win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach.

Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?

I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.

The pundit's prediction: 2-0

The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

The algorithm's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season began, but they have impressed a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four matches.

My son told me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice.

The forward will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had much success on the travel this season, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. The visitors will try to hit them on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a danger.

The analyst's prediction: 2-1

Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually turns out to be quite tight. 1-1

The computer's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six matches.

Fulham have got lots of talent in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.

As for Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.

Their display in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.

The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the end of last month.

However I am not choose that. Instead, I truly need to carry on going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.

Looking at the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the sole team they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.

The expert's forecast: 1-0

The guest's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0

The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough fixture to predict. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but might they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
